Meet the Team
Heather
Nelson founded Champion Assistants on the basic
principle that great service can be provided to clients virtually.
The internet has reduced barriers to working with clients in all
geographic areas and across all industries. Maximizing office and
communication technologies are goals Ms. Nelson pursues on an on-going
basis.
Ms. Nelson, a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles
(UCLA), has a strong background of project management at both technology
and financial services companies. After beginning her career in
the US, she has had the good fortune of working for nearly eight
years in Europe, in countries including Germany, the UK, France
and Sweden. Her industry knowledge spans IT, financial services
and insurance. Over the course of her career she has worked in the
areas of project management, sales and business development, marketing
and even human resources. Ms. Nelson’s project management
experience has enabled her to travel extensively to countries including
China, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Argentina, Brazil,
India, South Africa and nearly every European country. She is a
well seasoned traveler and understands the needs of internationally-minded
clients. Considering Ms. Nelson is bi-lingual in German, she also
understands the imperative for using native speaker translators
who are culturally sensitive to the business habits of the target
country.
Founding Champion Assistants was a dream made reality, being that
Ms. Nelson wanted to bring her skills and expertise to as many clients
as possible. She enjoys the variety of clients her business brings
in through marketing and referrals, and welcomes all inquiries.
